Day 1 : Hammamet

Reception of the participants at Tunis-Carthage airport, or Enfidha airport, or Monastir airport. Transfer and check-in at your three-star hotel in North Hammamet (half board formula).

Day 2 : Tunis Medina and Sidi Bou Said village

Morning dedicated to the visit of Tunis Medina and its main monuments: – The Great Mosque Ezzitouna (optional visit for a 4 DNT extra fee) – The Dar Othman palace, built in early 17th century by Othman Dey, governor of Tunis and notorious pirate – The Médersa Slimaniya, built in 1754 by Ali Pacha

Free time to wander in the colored souks up to the door of France “Bab Bhar”. Lunch in the heart of Tunis city. In the afternoon, visit of Sidi Bou Saïd perched village by the Mediterranean sea, stroll by its paved alleys to get an extraordinary sight of Tunis’ gulf. Return to Hammamet. Dinner and night at your hotel.

Day 3 : Bardo museum in Tunis and Archeological site of Carthage

Morning dedicated to the visit of Tunis famous Bardo Museum, where you can admire an extraordinary collection of antique mosaics and objects. The museum is situated in one of the most beautiful palaces of the country : the ancient residence of beys from the Husseinite dynasty (13th century). Lunch in Carthage. Visit of Carthage archaeological site: Byrsa Hill, Tophet, Punic ports, Antonin’s Thermal baths. Return to Hammamet. Dinner and night at your hotel.

Day 4 : Korbous springs and Archeological sites of Kerkouane and Kelibia

In the morning, departure toward Korbous, thermal resort known for its warm springs water, nested at the bottom of a ravine surrounded with cliffs. Continuation towards the tip of the Cap Bon area, walk in the djebel (mountains), and arrival at El Haouaria, a village famous for its tradition of falconry. On-the-spot lunch. In the afternoon, visit of Kerkouane ruins: one of the most remarkable Punic sites of the world and the unique example of an entirely Carthaginian city. Continuation to Kelibia ruins, to visit the Roman fortress and the fishing port. Return to Hammamet. Dinner and night at your hotel.

Day 5 : Nabeul and Zaghouan

In the morning, departure for the lagoon of Korba, lined with white sand. This site attracts numerous species of birds. Walk and Photo break. Continuation toward Nabeul, the Tunisian capital of pottery. Free time to stroll along craftsman shops and buy yourself some souvenirs. On-the-spot lunch. In the afternoon, visit of Zaghouan Waters Temple, starting point of the Roman aqueduct which brought water to Carthage. Continuation to Oudna, to visit the antique site of Uthina, ancient Berber village which would have established one of the first Roman communities of Africa. Return to Hammamet. Dinner and night at your hotel.

Day 6 : Relaxation in Hammamet

Have a relaxing day at your hotel and take advantage of the hotel facilities and activities : swimming pool, beach, spa and thalassotherapy… Free time for lunch. Around 17h P.M, departure for the visit of Hammamet’s fortress. Then the team “Autre Tunisie” will invite you to have a traditional glass of tea with pine nuts at the notorious bar of braids at the top of the fortress with a view of the Mediterranean. Dinner and night at your hotel.

Day 7 : Relaxation in Hammamet

Have a relaxing day at your hotel to take advantage of the hotel facilities and activities : swimming pool, beach, spa… Free time for lunch. Dinner and night at your hotel.

Day 8 : Departure from Hammamet

Free time for lunch. Transfer of the tour participants to Tunis-Carthage airport, Enfidha airport, or Monastir airport, and assistance with departure formalities.
