Tunisian crafts in the spotlight at Berlin Import Shop

The international fair trade for crafts, jewelry, clothing and decorating products, Import Shop Berlin, which has been held from 7 to 11 November 2012,  recorded this year an exceptional participation from Tunisian craftsmen, with guidance and support from the AHK Tunisia (Tunisian-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce), as the official representative of Messe Berlin in Tunisia.

For young Tunisian craftsmen, getting involved in an event such as Import Shop Berlin is , a way to access a “test market” allowing them to test their products on the German market, to monitor trends, and to make new contacts as well as to deepen business relationships with customers as well as other exhibitors.

Moreover, the show is being held before Christmas, a period characterized by buying gifts. It will insure a large flow of visitors to the Berlin fair, where Tunisian craftsmen are to be honored, during the coming five days.

Amongst the crafts represented are jewellery, embroidery, tapestry, pottery,  weawing and leather craft.
