Buggy, adventure in Djerba in southern Tunisia!
Your buggy tour will take you to the center of the island, on dirt tracks, away from paved roads.
You will discover the many faces of djerbian architecture with its workshops weavers or wool dyers, its ancient mosques as well military role as religious, its menzels organized around the traditional dwelling: the houch.
Your ride over the roads will take you through several villages and hamlets scattered in the middle of farmland. In summer, in the shade of palm trees or olive trees, you may find a few packs of wild dogs, the beige coat makes them confused with the ground. Sometimes during your approach, a hawk will fly by launching its shrill cry, and children who draw water from the underground cistern greet you from the hand with big “hello” to the lilting accents.
On return, the Mediterranean will tease you with all the winks of turquoise wavelets.
Our outings are with automatic PGO 500cc, two-seats, stable, comfortable and easy to drive.
Each buggy ride is accompanied by one or two qualified instructors, depending on the size of your group.
A reminder of the use of the buggy and of safety instructions will be made prior to departure. The wearing of seatbelts is compulsory.
The buggy rides are organized in compliance with laws and regulations. The drivers undertake to respect the safety instructions. Young people 18 years old are authorised to drive; between 16 and 18 years old, driving is permitted with a guide in the same buggy.
